DEAD WINTER CON will be held at the London-Laurel Optimist Complex in London, KY on February 17-18, 2012. The show will feature a special screening of ZP International’s SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES.

Actor, writer and graphic artist Frank Santoroski will be on hand representing ZP International.  Santoroski has starred in such films as THE EDISON DEATH MACHINE, BUNKER OF BLOOD, HELL-EPHONE, MONSTROSITY, and SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES. ZP International will be offering DVD’s for sale, and Mr. Santoroski will be available for autographs and photo ops throughout the event.

DEAD WINTER CON’s impressive guest list also features the stars of SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES, Kayla Perkins and Cassidy Rae Owens. Also scheduled to appear are some of the stars of ZP International’s HELL-EPHONE including Ari Lehman, Daniel Emery Taylor, Jim O’ Rear and Mike Holman.

With Headliners like Tony Todd, Tony Moran , and Rodney Hall coupled with costume contests, video game tournaments and a live performance by Ari Lehman’s band, FIRST JASON, this show promises to be HUGE!

Recently ZP International’s own George Bonilla and David Lemoine took a trip up to Detroit,MI.  In their travels visited the American Jewelery and Loan store where the TRU-TV hit show “Hardcore Pawn” is filmed.

If you tune in this coming Tuesday, December 20th at 9pm EST, you can see the episode that features George and David.

November 4, 2011: Richmond, KY: ZP International Motion Picture Products has just put the finishing touches on a very different type of film. THE MEDLEY BOYS: LIVE AT RENFRO VALLEY is a ninety minute live concert film featuring The Medley Boys, a country-rock band based in Livingston, KY.

The Medley Boys are a very active band, playing gigs all around Central Kentucky with a sound that blends rock and country. Their show features a combination of original compositions and popular hit songs.  The members of the band are Jason Medley on lead vocals and guitar, Anthony Medley on keyboards, guitar and vocals, Josh Bray on the drums and vocals, and John Kerns on bass guitar.  Joey Napier handles sound, lighting and merchandising and Jay Anderson is the band’s equipment manager.

The film was shot on location at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center in Mount Vernon, KY. Renfro Valley is a hot spot for country music fans, bringing a variety of local and national acts to South-Central Kentucky.

“This was an exciting challenge,” said ZP International’s George Bonilla, who directed the film. “It’s something totally out of the norm for us. Shooting a live event involves capturing all of the action both on and off the stage, with no cuts, second takes or re-shoots. We brought four cameras for this undertaking, and I’m very happy with the results. The Medley Boys are a fantastic act; they bring a great deal of energy to the stage. It was a thrill to be there.”

November 3, 2011 - Richmond, KY: ZP International Motion Pictures announced today that they have officially green-lighted a new feature to be titled ATOMIC GLADIATORS. The film will be directed by George Bonilla with pre-production beginning immediately with the principal photography to begin in spring 2012. The action/adventure film will feature a number of professional and semi-professional martial artists and fighters from different disciplines. Set with a futuristic backdrop, the film tells the story of a winner-take-all tournament to the death with World Peace hanging in the balance.”

“I am very excited about this project. It allows us to branch out of the Horror genre and stretch our creative talents. The idea for ATOMIC GLADIATORS began a number of years ago, with a project we had on the table titled ENTER THE MASKED MAN. While it’s not entirely the same concept, I used some elements from ENTER THE MASKED MAN to morph the story into ATOMIC GLADIATORS.

The Richmond, KY based studio has already taken some test shots for the film, and will be employing some innovative new technology as production progresses.

This announcement comes on the heels of ZP International announcing worldwide distribution agreements for their film catalogue through R-Squared films. The first film to be released will be SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES. The domestic DVD and PPV release date for this fun-filled family friendly film is December 12, 2011.

There are also two film projects currently in post-production. Bonilla’s SURVIVING THE ZOMBIE PLAGUE, a tongue-in-cheek mockumentary, and the Science Fiction thriller THE RETURN, which was directed by Frank Santoroski.

In other ZP International news, the studio announced today that during pre-production for ATOMIC GLADIATORS they will be relocating their studio facilities.

“The truth of the matter is that the landlord has run into some financial trouble, and he needs the building back.” Bonilla said, “It’s an unfortunate symptom of the economy. However, this will in no way, shape or form derail us from moving forward as a production company. This is a minor setback in the middle of a lot of very important and positive things we have happening right now. The timing of the move works out well, as we are between projects and can focus on script development for ATOMIC GLADIATORS and finishing the other two films. We have also been very active in preparing deliverables for R-Squared and ensuring that our films are 100% ready for their respective DVD release dates.  We have plenty of work to keep us busy while we search for a new studio facility.”

ZP International recentely welcomed Marvin Bartlett and the crew of FOX 56 News to the set of “Surviving the Zombie Plague”, currently filming at ZP International Studios in Berea, KY.

The FOX 56 team shot a segment that is scheduled to air on the 10:00 PM News on Tuesday November 1st. Mr. Bartlett and staff had a great time on the set, and captured some fantastic behind the scenes and interview footage.
